Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show has been canceled after four seasons, Lionsgate’s syndicated television production company Debmar-Mercury confirmed Monday. The announcement came the same day Kelly Clarkson revealed that her own daytime talk show will conclude after seven seasons.
In a statement to The Post, Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said the decision reflects shifts in the daytime television landscape rather than the show’s performance or creative direction.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production — which has found strong creative momentum this season — or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” the executives said.

Despite the cancellation, Debmar-Mercury signaled continued support for the program.
“We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms,” the company said in its statement.
The Post has reached out to Shepherd’s representative and Debmar-Mercury for comment.
Season four of “Sherri” will continue airing through the fall. The show, which is filmed at Chelsea Studios in New York City, had previously been renewed for the 2025–2026 television season and cleared on major station groups including Fox TV Stations, Nexstar, Hearst, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna and Sunbeam.

When the series was renewed for a fourth season last May, Shepherd expressed gratitude to viewers in a statement, saying she did not take for granted being welcomed into audiences’ homes each day.
“I work hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter and inspiration, and I’m grateful that the audience has embraced what we do,” she said at the time. “I look forward to raising the bar and turning up the volume as we plan for our season four return.”
