Months ago, a scene filmed by a camera next to an osprey’s nest landed online.
The video is already a real success on the YouTube network, to date it has reached more than 1.3 million views.
The scene, captured by a camera in the middle of the forest in Finland, shows a horrifying moment of life in the wild – an osprey was completely helpless against a raven that wanted food.
The osprey is a bird of the order of prey, slightly larger than the hen. It has a nest on trees or on a high pole. It has one litter per year, which means two to four eggs.
The mentioned bird tried to defend its babies from a hungry raven, but unfortunately it was not successful. First, a raven killed an adult osprey, and then another of its cubs.
