Meghan Markle has officially introduced her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, through her fresh Instagram account.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex expressed her excitement about sharing the series with her followers, just a day after her account debuted its first reel to celebrate the start of 2025.
The highly anticipated lifestyle series, promised to fans when the American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand was teased last March, is set to premiere on January 15, following a year of eager speculation about its release date.
The trailer showcases the Duchess in her Montecito kitchen, whipping up meals, harvesting produce from her garden, and engaging with famous friends like Mindy Kaling — one of the first to receive American Riviera Orchard Jam. All of this unfolds to the upbeat melody of The Lovin’ Spoonful’s Do You Believe in Magic.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Meghan wrote: “I’ve been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! A huge thanks to our amazing crew and team — beyond grateful for the support and the fun!” She concluded her message with, “As ever, Meghan.”
In its official synopsis, Netflix describes the series: “In With Love, Meghan, we follow Meghan as she explores her kitchen, garden, and even her beehive, all while preparing to host gatherings with friends both old and new.”

“Whether it’s preparing take-home gifts for guests or adding a sprinkle of edible flowers to breakfast, it’s truly the thought that counts,” she explains.
In the trailer, Meghan shares her philosophy: “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that show I was really thinking of them. I’m going to share some little tips and tricks and how you can incorporate these practices every day. This is about connecting with friends… We’re not in the pursuit of perfection, we’re in the pursuit of joy.”
The Duchess, known for her star-studded circle of friends, includes The Office writer and actress Mindy Kaling among her guests. In a snippet from the trailer, Kaling, enjoying a slice of Victoria Sponge cake, exclaims: “What! This is probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life.”

The Duchess of Sussex has made her much-anticipated return to Instagram to announce the launch of her new Netflix series.
In the series, Meghan discusses “making new friends” and exploring new skills, such as beekeeping. Each episode sees Meghan inviting old and new friends to join her in the kitchen or garden for candid conversations and practical tips.
Notable appearances include Mindy Kaling—who previously featured on Meghan’s podcast Archetypes—as well as Prince Harry and renowned chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters. Meghan also welcomes close friends like Suits co-star Abigail Spencer and Delfina Blaquier, her “sister” and fellow “polo wife,” who is married to the Duke of Sussex’s friend Nacho Figueras.
Nacho Figueras, a professional polo player, first appeared in Netflix’s Harry & Meghan and the Duke’s polo series.
The show also features Meghan’s longtime make-up artist and close friend, Daniel Martin. Having met Meghan over a decade ago during her Suits days, Daniel contributed to her former blog The Tig and played a key role on her wedding day, perfecting her bridal look.
Other prominent guests include celebrated literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, Vicky Tsai—Harry and Meghan’s multi-millionaire neighbor who sold her beauty brand Tatcha to Unilever for $500 million—and Tracy Robbins, wife of Paramount CEO Brian Robbins, who hosted the Sussexes at the Bob Marley film premiere in Jamaica.
Additionally, Meghan’s best friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, co-founder of Alliance of Moms, joins the guest list, ensuring the series is filled with heartfelt moments and inspiring connections.

The Duchess welcomes several guests into her Montecito kitchen, including chef Roy Choi, who humorously refers to himself and Meghan as “family.”

In one scene, Meghan strolls through her garden, picking fresh fruit while dressed in a denim jumpsuit.

Meghan emphasizes that the series is not about striving for “perfection,” but rather discovering “joy” in life’s simple moments.

Kelly and Meghan first crossed paths through the Duchess’ ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, who is friends with Kelly’s husband, a former model’s entertainment lawyer.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have become an integral part of Kelly and her husband Julian’s support system, especially following the tragic loss of Kelly’s son, George, who passed away at just nine years old in July 2022 after being found unresponsive at their family home.
Kelly, co-founder of Alliance of Moms, a non-profit supporting pregnant and parenting teens in the foster care system, has spoken about how Harry and Meghan have been a “guiding light” during her family’s difficult time.
Meghan’s announcement comes a day after she made a dramatic return to Instagram with a video of her laughing on a beach near Montecito.
The 43-year-old Duchess shared her first clip earlier today, simply captioning it “@meghan.”
Prince Harry filmed the new video, which quickly sparked a frenzy online. Within minutes, the account gained tens of thousands of followers, growing from 115,000 to nearly 170,000.
It had long been speculated that the profile belonged to Meghan after it was set up in June 2022 but remained inactive. She teased fans further in 2023 when she mentioned she was “getting back on Instagram.”
Now, Meghan has confirmed the account is hers, posting a clip of herself walking toward the shoreline of the California beach where she lives with Prince Harry, and their children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

The Duchess also invites chef Alice Waters to join the series, where they discuss cooking tips.

Meghan’s series has been highly anticipated following her teaser about the launch of American Riviera Orchard in March 2024.

The Duchess shares with viewers that she enjoys “taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it” as she talks about the art of hosting.

Meghan promises to share “tips and tricks” for adding a touch of sparkle to everyday life through the series.

Meghan, 43, also discusses learning new skills, such as beekeeping, and is seen wearing full protective gear in one clip.

The Duchess also prepares a dish of white fish, paired with roasted tomatoes, lemons, and herbs like rosemary and basil, all drizzled with olive oil.

One of Meghan’s dishes is a multi-layered Victoria sponge cake, topped with fresh raspberries and cream.

Meghan prepares canapés! The Duchess creates Caprese-style party bites by layering French bread with tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, and a touch of basil.

Meghan prepares a dessert reminiscent of Eton Mess, featuring strawberries, cream, mint, and a berry coulis.

And a treat for Guy as well! Meghan’s cherished beagle doesn’t miss out on the kitchen delights, as the Duchess makes sure he has a biscuit to enjoy.

The move marks a significant shift for the Duchess, signaling a new chapter for her and Harry’s lives in America. This decision follows their departure from social media after stepping down from royal duties.
In her latest clip, Meghan is seen drawing “2025” in the sand, possibly teasing an upcoming project. The beaming Duchess then runs off camera, giggling with joy.
Along with her first post, the @meghan account updated its profile picture to a black-and-white photo of Meghan smiling in an elegant white dress.
This return to Instagram comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex previously vowed never to return to social media, citing the “almost unsurvivable” level of abuse they had faced.
Meghan shut down all her social media accounts in January 2018, shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry. A Kensington Palace source at the time stated, “Ms. Markle is grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years. However, as she has not used them for some time, she has decided to close them.”
In 2020, Meghan and Harry also ceased posting to their Sussex Royal Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Despite their vocal criticism of online abuse, the royal couple has continued using digital platforms to promote their “progressive” new roles in the US, most recently with a podcast on Spotify.
However, in 2023, it was revealed that Meghan had created an Instagram account, with today marking the first time she has posted on it.
