She’s spreading holiday cheer with some superstar generosity!
Pop icon Taylor Swift stunned an Arrowhead Stadium worker with a $600 Christmas Day tip — leaving the recipient so amazed they set aside one bill as a keepsake.
Swift and her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, were quietly leaving Arrowhead Stadium after the Chiefs’ tough Christmas Day loss to the rival Denver Broncos, accompanied by Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce.
Taylor Swift surprised an Arrowhead Stadium catering attendant with a generous $600 tip for working on Christmas Day.
The pop superstar and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, happened to run into Robyn Gentry, a catering worker at the stadium, as they were leaving.
“[Swift] was running around telling everyone Merry Christmas and came toward me, saying, ‘Thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this, Merry Christmas,’” Gentry shared in a Swiftie Facebook group. “My mind just froze. Of course, I said Merry Christmas and thank you so much.”
The stunned fan decided to frame one of the bills as a keepsake.
Gentry admitted she didn’t even realize what Swift had handed her until the superstar and Kelce had left. To her amazement, Swift had given her six $100 bills.
“My whole paycheck for two weeks,” Gentry exclaimed. “I had just spent that much on Christmas for eight kids. I immediately started crying.”
While Gentry wisely put most of the money into savings, she set aside a single bill and framed it as a lasting memory of the unexpected gift.
Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Still haven’t spent any, but I wanted to share the story with people who will appreciate it with me. Taylor and Travis are beautifully kind people,” Gentry wrote.
Fans were equally amazed, with some suggesting she spend the money on more Swift merchandise, while others pointed to the Grammy-winning superstar’s charitable efforts as proof she isn’t the “evil billionaire” some critics portray her to be.
Many fans have speculated that Travis Kelce may be nearing retirement after an impressive 13-year NFL career.
Swift has a history of generosity: in the Disney+ documentary Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, she gifted her concert crew a staggering $197 million in bonuses — nearly 10% of the tour’s total earnings. Ahead of Christmas, she also donated $1 million each to the American Heart Association and Feeding America.
Her Christmas Day appearance at the Chiefs’ game came amid speculation that it could be Kelce’s swan song in the NFL, as the future Hall of Famer considers stepping away after more than a decade on the field.
The couple is set to wed in June, continuing to delight fans with both their romance and their generosity.
