“Celebrate Like It’s Your Birthday Every Day”
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau went public with their romance, holding hands while celebrating the singer’s 41st birthday in Paris.
Over the weekend, the pop star and the former Canadian prime minister were spotted walking hand in hand as they arrived at a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris.
Photos obtained by Page Six show Trudeau, 53, carefully helping his date out of the car before they entered the venue.
After the show, the couple continued holding hands as they left the cabaret. A fan greeted Perry with a red rose and wished her a “happy birthday” as they exited.
The pair then climbed into a black SUV and drove off to their next destination.
The fan also wished Perry a happy birthday.
Perry turned heads in a figure-hugging red gown paired with black pumps, her dark hair styled in a sleek low bun.
Trudeau looked equally sharp in a dark suit matched with a black shirt.
The couple’s date night comes weeks after Page Six exclusively reported that Trudeau’s new romance was being described as a “midlife crisis” following his divorce from Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau after 18 years of marriage.
She styled her dark hair in a sleek low bun.
“Dating Katy may just be Justin’s answer to going to Burning Man,” a Canadian society source told us. “It’s a bit of a midlife crisis.”
The “Dark Horse” singer and the politician first sparked romance rumors in July when they were spotted taking a stroll and later grabbing a bite to eat in Montreal.
A few days later, Trudeau was seen attending Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour stop at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
The duo appeared to be in high spirits.
Earlier this month, things turned steamy when they were spotted making out while enjoying time together on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
Perry’s new romance follows her split from Orlando Bloom. In July, the 13-time Grammy nominee and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, 48, confirmed in a joint statement that they had ended their 10-year relationship.
The exes share a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, who was born in August 2020.
In 2023, Trudeau and his estranged wife, Sophie, announced their separation.
“Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have decided to separate,” the former Liberal Party leader wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post at the time.
“As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build,” he added.
The couple shares three children: Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
