Entertaining, renowned, and down-to-earth! Jennifer Garner possesses all the qualities of an American sweetheart adored by everyone.
On her Instagram, she generously shares videos, mostly centered around her cooking, providing fans a peek into her life as a mother.
Today, in addition to her acting career, Garner is also engaged in another meaningful endeavor—preserving her family’s history.
In the past, Garner’s maternal grandparents used the money her grandpa earned from World War I to purchase a piece of land. The family established a farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, where Garner’s mother, Patricia, spent her childhood. As Garner grew up, her mom recounted stories of life on the farm, and those cherished memories have stayed with Garner.
Recalling the time when they acquired the land, Patricia reminisced, saying, “My parents didn’t even own a car, so upon learning about the available land, they enlisted someone to drive them there. The property included a two-room house and 20 acres, excluding 1 acre at the core of the estate, which served as a Native American cemetery.”
Continuing, she shared, “Mom recounted how Dad haggled, spending the entire day negotiating over $20. Once they reached an agreement on the price, the deal was sealed, and the land became a lasting part of our family history.”
Over the years, ownership of the farm passed through various family members until Garner took the initiative to purchase it from her uncle Robert in 2017. They reached an agreement that allowed Robert and his wife to reside in a house they built on the farm while also being responsible for its maintenance.
The star of “Alias” transformed the farm into a lucrative venture after establishing Once Upon a Farm. With this endeavor, her aspiration to create nutritious children’s food, alleviating parental concerns about their kids’ nutritional intake, became a reality.
Reflecting on Once Upon a Farm, Garner expresses, “We envisioned returning baby food to its roots by using organic fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers, blended with care, and served fresh from the fridge. Our dream was to reduce mealtime stress by providing our little ones with foods that supply all the essential nutrients they need – and more!”
Donned in striped overalls and work gloves, Garner expressed in a TikTok video in May that her “favorite place” is the Oklahoma farm.
In the video, she declared, “My tractor is calling me,” indicating her imminent visit to the Oklahoma farm for planting. Signing off as “Farmer Jen,” the video garnered over 3.4 million views.
Meanwhile, the products from her company are available at major retailers across America and can also be purchased online through the company’s website.
