It’s shaping up to be a fairytale wedding.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are reportedly preparing for their July 3 wedding with an elaborate castle-themed setup inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, Page Six has learned.

As crews unloaded decorations at the iconic venue, a black garbage bag reportedly slipped, briefly revealing two white bannisters that appeared to be part of the grand wedding décor. The pieces are believed to be connected to the castle-inspired design being assembled for the highly anticipated celebration.

The white bannisters could be part of the elaborate castle-themed wedding setup.

According to TMZ, which first reported the details, the castle is being constructed within a garden-inspired setting inside Madison Square Garden.

Workers were also seen unloading large shipping crates believed to contain artificial trees and other decorative elements for the event.

Page Six can confirm that crews have been transforming the venue, draping fabric from the ceiling and covering portions of the arena floor as preparations continue.

As previously reported, multiple deliveries have arrived at Madison Square Garden in recent days, with some boxes reportedly marked “Garden Party.”

The apparent garden-and-castle theme may be a tribute to Kelce and Swift’s August 2025 engagement. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is said to have proposed to the pop superstar in a flower-filled garden adorned with white and blush-colored blooms.

The castle motif could also hold special significance for Swift. Throughout her career, the singer has frequently incorporated fairytale imagery into her performances, including enchanted castle backdrops featured during her “Speak Now” and “Fearless” tours.

The wedding’s garden-inspired theme may be a tribute to Kelce’s romantic proposal, which reportedly took place in an enchanted floral setting.

On Tuesday afternoon, Page Six exclusively obtained video showing a red carpet being rolled out along the stairs at Madison Square Garden’s VIP entrance. The carpet was removed just minutes later.

According to an employee at the venue, the carpet was intended for a “wedding” but was taken away because it had been placed out ahead of schedule.

Kelce and Swift, both 36, are expected to exchange vows during a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

The guest list is said to include a number of high-profile names, including Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, all of whom have reportedly received invitations to the highly anticipated wedding.

Page Six previously reported that legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks and country music star Tim McGraw are slated to perform during the star-studded celebration. Swift is also reportedly planning multiple wardrobe changes throughout the event.

The couple is said to have secured permits requesting temporary street closures around Madison Square Garden, as well as the installation of a public tent outside the venue.

Kelce and the pop superstar have been together since 2023 and are now preparing to take the next step in their relationship.
