Jennifer Lopez is fully committed to salvaging her marriage to Ben Affleck, insiders reveal. Their recent separation has only deepened their appreciation for one another, intensifying their resolve to avoid divorce.
The couple, who recently put their $60 million family home on the market, were last seen together on June 2. They have spent significant occasions like Mother’s Day and their second wedding anniversary apart amidst swirling rumors that their rekindled relationship is heading for a split.
Despite these challenges, Lopez, 54, is prioritizing their blended family and has paused her work commitments to help rekindle their romance.
“Jennifer is optimistic about saving her marriage to Ben,” an exclusive source told DailyMail.com.
“She wouldn’t be investing time in nurturing his children and taking on a motherly role if she wasn’t committed to working things out with him or, at the very least, on the right track.”

The source revealed that the couple relisted their marital home because their family didn’t feel ‘safe’ in the Bel Air mansion and had difficulty considering it ‘home.’
The insider shared that Ben and Jennifer have spent time apart this summer to assess the value of their relationship.
“They needed space to reflect, and this has only reinforced their love for each other,” the source revealed. “Jennifer has paused her work to focus on mending their relationship, acknowledging that her career and fame sometimes came between them.”
The insider continued, “She is making a genuine effort to be a good mom and a grounded person, recognizing that wealth and fame are not everything. She hopes it’s not too late.”
However, the source also noted that Affleck had made his share of mistakes. “Those close to her have reassured her that she’s not solely to blame, as Ben has his own issues.”
DailyMail.com previously reported that Lopez had been confiding in her husband’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, who eventually stepped back from her informal mediator role due to the chaotic situation. Despite this, she remains in “constant communication” with Garner, who has been instrumental in helping the situation.
“Jennifer is deeply grateful for Garner’s support, even though she has now stepped back,” the insider said. “Garner was able to reach Affleck in ways that even Jennifer could not.”

Affleck’s eldest daughter, Violet, 18, was spotted enjoying quality time with Lopez in Southampton, New York, last weekend.

A source revealed, “Jennifer is focused on being a good mom and staying grounded right now because she understands that her wealth and fame don’t hold the same value.”
Affleck and Garner have three children together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
It appeared their blended family might be strained when Affleck moved out of their California mansion into a $100K-a-month rental near his ex-wife. Shortly thereafter, the mansion was discreetly listed for $65 million, and they began selling off artwork from the property.
However, the source explained that the real reason for putting their marital home back on the market was that their family did not feel ‘safe’ in the Bel Air mansion and struggled to consider it ‘home.’
“Jennifer and Ben decided to sell the house because neither they nor their kids felt comfortable there,” the insider shared. “The house was too large, and its openness sometimes made them feel uneasy, despite having around-the-clock security. Now, they’re considering all their options and have decided to receive a cash offer now, making the process quicker and easier for everyone involved.”
The source added that Affleck, in particular, never felt at ease in the mansion, which likely influenced his decision to move out quickly last month.
“Ben disliked the house more than Jennifer did, and when their marriage started to unravel, he was done with it,” the insider said. “The cost of utilities for the home was also astronomically high.”

Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021, marrying in a Las Vegas ceremony the following July before celebrating with a grand wedding at his Georgia estate in August 2022 (pictured).

However, the couple was seen on opposite coasts while marking their second anniversary apart on July 16 (pictured in May 2023).
Jennifer Lopez shuts down reporter’s question about Ben Affleck.
The couple’s romance began in 2002 while filming *Jersey Girl*, and they became engaged the following year before breaking up in 2004.
Fans were thrilled when they rekindled their relationship in the spring of 2021. They married in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 and celebrated with a lavish wedding at Affleck’s Georgia estate a month later.
However, the pair were seen on opposite coasts as they seemed to miss each other on their second anniversary, July 16. A smiling Affleck was spotted arriving at his office in Los Angeles, carrying a large iced coffee and a duffel bag, while Lopez was in the Hamptons with his 18-year-old daughter, Violet.
Despite the current distance, they continue to collaborate professionally. Lopez is set to star in two upcoming films, *Unstoppable* and *Kiss Of The Spider Woman*, under Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company, Artists Equity.
