Treat Williams’ last words are heartbreaking…

“We are deeply saddened to share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved Treat Williams, who lost his life tonight in Dorset, Vermont, following a devastating motorcycle accident,” expressed his grieving family in an official statement. “The shock and profound grief we are experiencing at this time is immeasurable.”

Authorities have reported that Williams was riding his motorcycle in Dorset, Vermont, when a Honda SUV made a left turn into a parking lot, resulting in a collision with Williams, who was reportedly unseen by the driver. A spokesperson from the Vermont State Police stated, “Williams was unable to avoid the collision and was thrown from his motorcycle.” The impact caused critical injuries, and he was subsequently airlifted to Albany Medical Centre in Albany, New York, where he was regrettably pronounced deceased.

The individual operating the SUV sustained minor injuries during the incident. Currently, an ongoing investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.

Describing Treat Williams as “an actor’s actor,” he leaves behind an extraordinary legacy with over 120 on-screen credits to his name. His notable roles include appearances in acclaimed films such as “Once Upon A Time In America” and “127 Hours.” He also graced television screens in popular shows like “Blue Bloods,” “Chicago Fire,” “Everwood,” and “Chesapeake Shores.”

In recognition of his talent, Williams received a Golden Globe nomination for his outstanding performance in a 1984 TV adaptation of the play “A Streetcar Named Desire.” Tributes began pouring in from the entertainment industry, with Tom Selleck and Bridget Moynahan among the first celebrities to express their condolences.

Matt Bomer, who portrayed Williams’ on-screen son in “White Collar,” shared a heartfelt tribute, describing Williams as an absolute treasure as both an actor and a person. “It can be pretty lonely on the road during a long shoot, but his resilient good cheer and sense of humour was a Godsend. I really loved him and am devastated that he’s gone.”

The second post featured a photo of Williams seated on the lawnmower, accompanied by the caption, “There is no better smell than new mown hay.”
