Amid a Southern California heat wave, with temperatures reaching up to 107 degrees in Studio City according to AccuWeather, the *Last Boy Scout* star was observed checking the side mirror of the car.
The actor from *The Sixth Sense* has five daughters: Mabel Ray, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with his wife Emma Heming Willis, 46; and Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, with his ex-wife Demi Moore, 61.
During his daytime outing, Willis was seen with bodyguards, according to eyewitnesses. This appearance comes just weeks after Rumer shared a post about him on Instagram Stories.

In a post from August 22, Rumer shared a photo of herself holding her father’s hand and responded to a question about how he’s been doing amid his health struggles. Rumer commented, “He is great. I love him so much. Thank you.”
In May, Rumer shared on the *Today* show that her father was doing “good” and enjoying time with her one-year-old daughter Louetta, whom she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas.
“I actually saw him just before I came out to New York,” she said. “Lou is starting to walk a little, and she walked over to him—it was so sweet.”
Rumer added, “It’s wonderful because my dad is truly a girl dad. It brings out that special, little-kid, girl-dad side of him. He’s incredibly sweet with her.”
She also mentioned that she and her family have been open about their health struggles to raise awareness. “Our vulnerability and transparency about what he’s going through is so important to me,” Rumer said. “If it can help another family dealing with something similar, or bring more attention to the disease in hopes of finding a cure or providing support, I think that’s really important.”
The *Die Hard* star’s health battle became public over two years ago, when his daughters, wife, and ex-wife released a joint statement on Instagram on March 30, 2022, announcing his aphasia diagnosis.
