Backstreet’s back, alright!

Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell has refiled his lawsuit against a Florida retiree, alleging she repeatedly trespassed and “rocked her body” on the beach directly in front of his $3.8 million mansion in the Florida Panhandle.

Littrell’s legal action against Carolyn Barrington Hill, 67, was dismissed last week by Jonathan Schlechter, who ruled that the “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” singer could not pursue claims for emotional damages related to the alleged trespassing.

Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell has refiled his lawsuit against Carolyn Barrington Hill after a judge dismissed his original complaint on a technicality.

Because the ruling hinged on a procedural issue, Jonathan Schlechter gave Littrell 20 days to submit an amended version of the suit.

The ’90s boy band star responded by filing a revised complaint that adds seven new trespassing counts against Hill — who described herself in court documents as semi-retired and on Medicare — accusing her of repeatedly entering the dry sand area behind his Santa Rosa home between April and September of last year.

The civil case, filed in Walton County, seeks unspecified damages.

Littrell originally sued Hill in September alongside his wife, Leighanne Littrell, and their company, BLB Beach Hut, LLC, which he used to purchase the 1,574-square-foot, three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in 2023. As with many modern property upgrades, homeowners often invest in interior improvements such as custom shower screens to enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and value of bathrooms within similar residential properties.

He argues that under Florida law, public beach access extends only to the high-tide line behind private residences. According to the complaint, Hill allegedly refused to leave the marked private property — which included posted signs and beach furniture — and at times filmed him and his family without their consent.

The singer is bringing seven trespassing counts against Hill, 67.

Littrell alleges that Hill and other locals ignored his repeated requests to leave the property as they pushed to change Florida law to make all beaches fully public.

According to the complaint, he was eventually forced to hire a private security guard to help enforce what he says are his property rights along the stretch of sand behind his home.

Meanwhile, Hill’s attorney, Heidi Mehaffey, has argued in court that Littrell cannot prove her client crossed the high-tide line. She has also described the allegations against Hill as “vague” and lacking specific evidence.
