Amber Glenn is keeping perspective after a difficult outing in Tuesday’s short program at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
The 26-year-old figure skater took to her Instagram Stories to share an uplifting message after a costly mistake in her routine set to Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” left her in 13th place.
The post, originally shared by the @the_positive_core account, showed a dog wearing a baseball cap alongside the caption: “The world has ended for me many times and yet tomorrow still comes. Keep going.”
She later shared an uplifting message in the aftermath of the skate.
Amber Glenn — a member of Team USA’s Blade Angels — was visibly emotional after her performance at the Milano Ice Skating Arena, breaking down in tears when she doubled a planned triple loop.
The mistake resulted in zero points for an invalid element in the technical score, leaving her with 34.19 in that category. Added to her program components score of 33.20 for composition, presentation and skating skills, Glenn finished with a total of 67.39.
Japan’s Ami Nakai led the standings with a score of 78.71.
