Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are reportedly spending around $3 million to rent out Madison Square Garden for a lavish three-day wedding celebration, according to TMZ.

The Kansas City Chiefs star and the Grammy-winning singer, who are said to be set to marry on July 3, have allegedly booked the iconic New York City venue for three days at an estimated cost of $1 million per day. The reservation reportedly includes one day for setup, the wedding day itself, and a final day for teardown.

Despite Swift’s long-standing relationship with the arena — where she has headlined eight sold-out shows throughout her career — the couple reportedly did not receive any special discount and are paying full price for the venue. The event is already being touted as one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent memory.

Madison Square Garden is owned by Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., a publicly traded company accountable to its shareholders, making any discounted venue arrangement unlikely.

The iconic arena is also expected to sit dark throughout the couple’s reported three-day wedding celebration, with no concerts, sporting events or other scheduled programming taking place during the reservation period.

Kelce and Swift have reportedly invited more than 1,000 guests to their wedding, extending invitations via phone calls and text messages in an effort to maintain privacy, according to TMZ.

The star-studded guest list is said to include Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez.

The lavish celebration could come with an equally eye-popping price tag. In a recent interview with The Post, luxury Manhattan wedding planner Sonal Shah estimated that the couple’s nuptials could ultimately cost anywhere from $10 million to more than $20 million once all expenses are accounted for.

“But for a celebrity wedding of this scale, the venue fee would likely be just a fraction of the overall budget,” Shah told The Post, noting that the couple would also need to cover the costs of a large staff, including an extensive security team.

Page Six previously reported that Kelce and Swift had chosen Madison Square Garden as their wedding venue, with one source claiming that privacy was the couple’s top priority.

While the pair have remained largely tight-lipped about their wedding plans, a Fourth of July weekend celebration in New York City would fit Swift’s well-known penchant for hosting star-studded gatherings. The 14-time Grammy winner, who owns an apartment in Tribeca, has frequently celebrated the holiday with close friends.

Kelce and Swift, who began dating in 2023, announced their engagement in August 2025.
