After taking him into custody, authorities allegedly discovered four Viagra pills in his possession without a prescription.
If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison for criminal damage and as much as two years behind bars for illegal possession of a “Part 1 poison,” according to A View From the Wing.
Officials have not released the suspect’s identity, and his motive remains unclear. Local media reported that he arrived in Hong Kong in November on a six-month visa.
The British traveler is not the first passenger to lose control at an airport in recent months. In December, a man allegedly caused a disturbance at Kansas City International Airport on New Year’s Eve, reportedly threatening female Southwest Airlines employees while shouting at staff.
