Meghan Markle was pretty in pink as she attended the annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night, stepping out solo for the occasion.

The Duchess of Sussex looked glamorous in a custom strapless pink gown designed by Charles Harbison of Harbison Studio, pairing the look with a dramatic black cloak featuring a long, flowing train draped over her arms.

She wore her hair in a sleek, slicked-back bun.

The Fifteen Percent Pledge, founded by Aurora James, is a nonprofit organization that encourages retailers to commit at least 15 percent of their shelf space and revenue to Black-owned businesses.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, was honored at the annual event for her advocacy within the community. Chloe Bailey, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Winnie Harlow were among the guests in attendance at the gala, which was held at Paramount Studios.

Prince Harry did not accompany Markle to the event. Just days earlier, however, the As Ever founder shared a video of her husband as she surprised him with sweet treats while he worked in his office.

The duchess kept her accessories minimal.

She topped off the look with black suede Stuart Weitzman heels.

The video was shared to promote her latest As Ever collaboration with Compartés Chocolates, which features the brand’s signature raspberry and strawberry spreads alongside a curated collection of chocolate treats.

As part of the collaboration, Markle also posted a photo of herself wearing a familiar navy Roland Mouret dress from her time as a working member of the royal family. She previously wore the elegant strapless midi in November 2018, when she attended the Royal Foundation Dinner at Kensington Palace with Prince Harry.

Markle and her husband were last publicly seen together in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, where they attended the premiere of their documentary, Cookie Queens.

Page Six Hollywood exclusively reported that the couple appeared “guarded” during the event, noting that Harry, 41, seemed focused on discussing his ongoing Daily Mail trial. Last month, Harry testified in court that Markle’s life as a working royal was “absolute misery” amid his legal battle against the UK tabloid.
