The ex-X Factor judge found herself entangled in a feud with Amanda Holden lately, stemming from Sharon’s critical remarks about Simon Cowell, described as “bitter and pathetic.”
Simon finally spoke out after Sharon and Louis Walsh took jabs at the 64-year-old music mogul during their time on Celebrity Big Brother.
Sharon expressed her frustration with Simon, citing her contract not being renewed on the talent show, which led to missing out on another significant TV opportunity.
Louis mentioned that he and Simon had ceased communication, claiming that Simon had “cut him out” of his life.
Sharon’s remarks sparked a verbal exchange with Amanda, prompting Simon to weigh in on the feud.
In an interview with the Mirror, Simon addressed the situation, acknowledging that controversy is expected when Sharon and Louis are involved. He expressed his continued friendship with both, highlighting that they could easily reconnect. He admitted not being easily reachable, which might have contributed to their frustration. Simon found humor in their comments about him and expressed his intention to reach out to them soon, as they hadn’t spoken in a while.

Simon finally spoke out following Sharon and Louis Walsh’s mockery of the 64-year-old music mogul during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Sharon expressed her frustration, stating she was “fuming” with Simon for not renewing her contract on the talent show, resulting in her missing out on another significant TV opportunity.

Amanda’s remarks to the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine angered Sharon, prompting her to retaliate with a rant on X, formerly known as Twitter. Sharon wrote: “You don’t know me, Amanda. Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide.”
When questioned this week, Amanda declined to address Sharon’s outburst but stated to MailOnline: “Oh, it’s all nonsense. Let’s not give attention to any of that.”
In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, actress Amanda expressed her displeasure at seeing certain individuals in a reality show criticize Simon, noting his role in providing them opportunities, wealth, and a lifestyle they might not have otherwise had. She described their behavior as “bitter and pathetic,” likening it to Cinderella’s sisters being envious and spiteful.
Just 12 hours later, Sharon took to Twitter to issue a comprehensive statement to Amanda, accusing her of being ill-informed and sycophantic. Sharon’s post began by addressing Amanda’s interview with the Daily Mail on April 12th, acknowledging Amanda’s defense of Simon, who is also her husband’s employer. However, Sharon pointed out factual inaccuracies in Amanda’s statements.
Sharon proceeded to highlight her significant achievements, asserting her crucial role in lending musical credibility to X Factor. She emphasized that while Simon Cowell may be respected, he relied on her for credibility in the musical aspect of the show, and together they formed a formidable team.

Sharon used Twitter to deliver a comprehensive statement to Amanda, accusing her of being ill-informed and sycophantic.

Amanda finally responded to Sharon’s accusation of being an “ill-informed sycophantic” in their dispute over Simon (pictured in 2014).

Sharon showcased her wealth, boasting about her “country estate in England” in addition to their residence in Beverly Hills (pictured: the couple’s home in Buckinghamshire).

She asserted: “The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda, or any of my close friends. You’re unaware of my family’s history in the music industry, my achievements, the artists I’ve collaborated with, the shows I’ve produced, and my global celebrity status.
“Unlike you, the Sharon Osbourne brand is recognized worldwide. There are numerous countries where I could work if I chose to, but I lack the ambition or time to do so.
“Our lifestyles are vastly different. I’ve been fortunate to lead an extraordinary life. Before you were born, I resided in a Beverly Hills mansion, and I continue to do so today, alongside my country estate in England.
“However, it’s important to note that I never discuss wealth, lifestyle, or positions of power. I find it distasteful and vulgar. But you’ve left me no choice but to share these details with you. I don’t wish to boast, but the truth is, my wealth and success were not a result of participating in a couple of Simon Cowell talent shows. Yes, Simon compensated me generously, probably more than what you’re receiving today, but most of that, my dear, went towards a few handbags.
“Enumerating my career achievements, I must emphasize that during my tenure on X Factor, I was the sole judge with global accomplishments, collaborating with multiple million-selling artists, Grammy Award winners, and headliners of arenas and stadiums. Additionally, I successfully produced Ozfest for 24 years, authored best-selling books, and produced the hit show ‘The Osbournes,’ for which I received an Emmy Award.
“Amanda, you’re missing the point here. With no disrespect to Simon Cowell, he required my musical credibility on X Factor, and I delivered. We formed a formidable team.
“I want to make it clear that none of my success can be attributed to Simon. It’s the result of my own hard work and that of my husband’s.
“It was only after several seasons of X Factor that Simon began to build his music empire, and I commend him for it. When I met my husband, I was already well-established in the music industry, having worked with bands like Electric Light Orchestra, Motorhead, Smashing Pumpkins, Gary Moore, The Move, Roy Woods, Wizzard, Linsey de Paul, Britt Ekland, and Black Sabbath, to name a few.”
Sharon addressed her strained relationship with Simon while on Celebrity Big Brother, as seen during her appearance on the show last month.
Unafraid to share their thoughts and reveal insider details about the entertainment industry, Sharon and Louis candidly discussed their experiences on Celebrity Big Brother during their recent stint on the show.
“It seems you may have overlooked the fact that my husband is a music icon, boasting sales of 170 million albums, multiple Grammy Awards, and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
“For 44 years, he’s lavished me with love and generosity since the day we met, surpassing any expectations. All of this occurred long before Simon Cowell entered the picture.
“In closing, I want to express that whenever I’ve seen you on TV, I’ve admired your beauty and talent. However, refrain from commenting on the lifestyle afforded to me by Simon Cowell. It diminishes my achievements and portrays you as ill-informed and sycophantic.
“Sincerely, Sharon Osbourne.”
Amanda, taking a firm stance against Sharon’s passionate statement, remained resolute in her position while acknowledging the X Factor judge’s remarkable career.
A spokesperson for the actress conveyed to MailOnline, “Amanda acknowledges Sharon’s remarkable career, but like her, Amanda will always defend those close to her.”
