The world was deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of actor Matthew Perry. Millions of fans are in mourning for the man who will forever be remembered for his iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing in the beloved series, “Friends.”

The series finale of “Friends” captivated the hearts of 50 million Americans. During the show’s last season, each of the six friends received a staggering $1 million per episode. Even in the years following its original airing, the constant reruns have continued to generate an estimated $20 million annually for Perry and his fellow cast members.
Spokesperson of the LA Fire Department reported that first responders arrived at Perry’s home at about 4 p.m. regarding a “water emergency” of an unknown type, but did not name the actor. Sadly, upon arrival, they discovered Perry’s unresponsive body. According to them, there were no drugs of any type at the scene. At the time being, no foul play is suspected.
