Trusting our inner voice that tells you what is right for you is among the hardest thing to do in life. The thinking pattern of the world bombards our thoughts with what is “right” and “wrong” and what will make you happy and what won’t. However, according to my last article of Honor Your Own Path, often what is right for the rest of the world might not be right for you. Each and every person have their own path which is valid and should be enlightened. Free yourself from the dogma of the society.

People ask me a lot how to know whether questions asked individually come from one’s ego or intuition.

The truth is, sometimes its hard to tell. Our minds usually plays a lot of tricks on us and in my case i tend to over think which puts me in a crazy state. Ego is an aspect that never dies as it is part of life. However, I have learn how to get space when my voice speaks and be able to trust it. Here’s how:

  • Be able to relax:

This can be easily achieved by breathing outdoors, exercising, journaling, napping, walking, getting a massage or even a glass of wine: whatever that rocks your boat, just ensure you get relaxed. Taking too much wine may actually work against you, therefore, its good to know your limit. If you can not be able to relax, then it’s not the right time to ask. Easy and simple. If you are not able to relax and yet you are needed to give an immediate answer, just give your best answer after thinking it through your heart and mind. Once you have made that choice, you just have to go with it as there’s nothing much that can be done.

  • Drop into your center:

This can be easily achieved by tapping along your chakras, solar plexus, the sacral, and the heart, which is the center of your body. Another option is by having the intention of dropping your energy into your heart space, and then allow your mind’s energy to lower down into your heart.Your aim is to get into the space of emptiness.Once inside this space, you will find truth. The third way is by imagining yourself in a room in your heart and you’re sitting in it.The room is without any distractions as it is empty and calm. If you get distracted, then you’re not in your center.

  • Seek wisdom carefully:

Once inside this space of emptiness, ask yourself questions critically. You have to be careful so as not to awaken your anxious part of being, or those that need answers urgently. Stay in the calm space and be ware of your judgements about yourself and the situation you are asking about. If you lose your center, try again later or re-center then ask yourself the same question. If you have never in the past communicated with yourself, know that you can ask your mind any question and see who or what answers back. when in the space and you detect some negative entities, trust that to be the spirit talking to you.

The answers that you get when you are in this space are mostly from your intuition, which is a connection to yourself.Your centerdness, groundedness, and ability to allow yourself stay in the heart space is your pure love. When you are at the space of love, you can entirely trust your decisions, own the truth and move on with it.
