Ken is a 9 years old boy from the Philippines who is doing his best to realize his dream of giving a hand to stray dogs. He devotes all his time taking very good care of dogs before and after his school. Ken showed his pictures online when he was feeding the dogs and they were wide spread. A lot of people from different places around the world offered him help. Currently, the money he gets from donators and his father uses it to help animals recover from illnesses and looking forward to provide them with a shelter.
He was sneaking out of his home to give food to the stray dogs, and then his father knew about it.
This white puppy was suffering from mange, but when he received some good care from ken, he is fine now.
Approaching the best site to make the garage was worthy now. “My father asked his friends and both he and his friends turned our garage into a small pet shelter for white puppy and his family to stay for the mean time. Our small animal shelter has a wall to keep our own dogs from getting mange from white puppy and his family.”
“We went to a park where I play soccer. The dogs were so happy they ran around and chased each other and drank a lot of water. I think it was their first time in a wide open place because at first they were scared to walk on the grass”
Ken said, “I got enough money to start an animal shelter. On May 1, 2014, I leased a 10,000 sq. ft. lot for one year. It cost $1,500. I don’t have enough money yet to populate the shelter with dogs but hopefully I can do that soon.”
Ken is getting support from people all over the world.
Thanks to his efforts, this white puppy is in good health.
This boy has proven that no one is ever too young to make a difference! The people around him have done such a good job with instilling compassion and initiative in him, and kudos to this dad for encouraging and assisting his son’s big heart for life.
I hope everything continues to go well for this family and the dogs that they are so generously nursing back to health.
