Popular YouTuber P2istheName, whose real name was Philip Enewally, has passed away at the age of 26.
The Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed that he was “found deceased on Friday in a mailroom,” though further details surrounding his death remain unclear as an investigation continues, according to TMZ.
Enewally’s mother spoke with the outlet on Saturday, confirming his death and requesting privacy for the family during this time of mourning.
She urged fans to visit his channel to celebrate his memory.
In the wake of the news, fellow YouTuber COLETHEMAN shared a tribute to Enewally on social media, remembering him as a kind and generous friend.
“My good friend @P2istheName has passed away… wow. I’m honestly at a loss for words. He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace. This breaks my heart,” he tweeted.

Several of his videos featured him personally packaging and shipping merchandise to his fans.
In many of his last uploads from Los Angeles, he was seen visiting mailrooms and shipping centers after selling out his entire inventory.
Enewally built a huge following through his NBA 2K and Fortnite gaming content.
He later broadened his focus to include various gaming videos, such as Let’s Play walkthroughs.
The star also gave his four million subscribers a glimpse into his life, with videos like one where he took fans through “a day in the life of a young Black millionaire” in Los Angeles.

In several of his final uploads from Los Angeles, he was seen visiting mailrooms and shipping centers after selling out his entire inventory.

While his recent uploads garnered between 20,000 and 60,000 views, he had once attracted millions of viewers per video.
In recent months, he had opened up about feeling “lost” on YouTube, expressing struggles with declining viewership and uncertainty about the future of his content.
Fans poured out love and support online, with one writing, “This man was my childhood, I still can’t believe this is real. May he rest in peace.”
Another said, “Never been touched by a celebrity’s death like this one.”
Yet another simply posted, “RIP to a YouTube legend.”
Authorities have yet to release additional details about the circumstances of his death.
