Frikkie Von Solms who is 69 year old has the job of taking care of lions in South of Arica, and because of it; has gained a different perspective. He has spent 11 years looking after Zion, a nice and tender lion from Africa. His mother, Simba, gave birth to him in a captivity but was taken away from his mother due to fears that his father would kill him. Growing up with a human, Zion became a sweet and soft animal.
For the doubt of being killed by his father, Zion was separated from his mother just when he was a cub.
He lived all 11 years of his entire life with Frikkie, the person who took care of him since day one.
Zion is so sweet and he always liked Frikkie to walk with him without wearing his shoes as noise disturbs him.
