Tina Brown, the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, has openly expressed her views on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, claiming that Meghan Markle has the ‘worst’ judgment.
During her appearance on The Ankler podcast with Janice Min, where she discussed her new Substack newsletter, *Fresh Hell*, Brown didn’t hold back. She previously referred to Megxit as a ‘disaster’ and suggested that the couple is ‘addicted to drama.’ This latest discussion provided her with another platform to share her candid thoughts on the former working royals.
“The issue with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the world,” the author stated on Min’s podcast.
“She has an uncanny ability to get everything wrong,” Brown exclaimed. “Unfortunately, all of her ideas are completely misguided.”

Princess Diana’s biographer and author of *The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor – The Truth and the Turmoil* characterized Harry as “the lamb to the slaughter in this situation.”
“And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child, really,” she added.
Last week, Brown launched her Substack, where she aims to “unload my observations, rants, news obsessions, and human exchanges with the wildly eclectic cast of characters who populate my seething inbox.” Her inaugural post delivered a sharp critique of Donald Trump and his presidential campaign, expressing her “mounting panic” as the election approaches.
Brown is well-known for her insights on the royal family, having released her latest book, *The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor, the Truth and the Turmoil,* in 2022.
In 2007, she published *The Diana Chronicles*, a biographical work about the late princess.
By 2022, the author remarked that the couple had made “bad choices” and suggested they could have exited the royal family on much better terms if they hadn’t been so “hotheaded” in their decision to step back from their roles as working royals.
She described Prince Harry as a “very impetuous man” and revealed that palace advisors “always thought he would leave.” According to her, this belief stemmed from the fact that “he was so fragile, so combustible, and frankly, so unhappy with the constraints of royal life.”
However, she also emphasized that the couple’s departure from royal duties was a “disaster all around.”
Brown described the couple’s departure from royal life as a “disaster in every respect.”
“The problem with Meghan is that her judgment is the worst of anyone in the world,” the author remarked on Min’s podcast.
Harry and Meghan have purchased a home in the Alentejo region of Portugal, close to a property owned by his cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
California-based Meghan and Harry recently made headlines after being evicted from their cottage at Windsor by King Charles, leaving them without a home in the UK.
Last week, Richard Eden from the Mail reported that the couple has purchased a property in the Alentejo region of Portugal, not far from a home owned by Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
Their new purchase may have been aided by Jack, who previously worked as a barman at the Admiral Codrington pub in Chelsea, West London, and later at Harry’s favorite nightclub, Mahiki. Jack now works in marketing and sales for the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a luxury development featuring 300 properties by the sea, complete with a golf course, spa, and equestrian center.
He, along with Eugenie, 34, and their sons, August, three, and Ernest, 16 months, live on-site and split their time between the UK and Portugal.
