It has been over 40 years since the passing of rock and country music legend Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie, the daughter of Elvis, is working hard to keep her father’s legacy alive.

In 2018, Lisa Marie took to the vocal booth and recorded a song with some old material of her father’s. She took Elvis’s vocals from Where No One Stands Alone and added her own flavor to it.

Lisa Marie still turns to her father for motivation. “It was a very powerful and moving experience to sing with my father,” Lisa Marie wrote in the album’s liner notes, according to USA Today.

“The lyrics speak to me and touch my soul. I’m certain that the lyrics spoke to my father in much the same way.”

The song was a way for her to feel a connection with her father.

Lisa Marie was able to create a classic song with her father’s help. When you listen to the duet, you will be able to instantly tell that Lisa is her father’s daughter. Their voices mesh so well on the song that you would think they recorded the song in the studio together.

The new duet featuring Elvis and Lisa Marie is certainly something you shouldn’t miss! You can truly feel Lisa Marie pouring all her heart into it!

You can hear the track for yourself in the video below
