Not wanting her son to miss out, Yevette, from Texas, did what any mom would do in such a situation: she drove home, put on a plaid shirt, a Rangers baseball cap, a chain, a fake mustache, and even a dash of cologne, and then returned to school incognito so Elijah could enjoy some donuts with “dad”.
“I know seeing other dads with their kids isn’t easy for mine but it’s life,” wrote Vasquez on Facebook. “At least I can do whatever it takes to put a smile on that face.” And as you can see, she certainly did just that. Yevette Vasquez – we salute you.
