Earl Melchert came home at noon on September 5 to pick up a can of diesel. He intended to fill it up when he got home.
From a distance he saw something like a running deer. However, a 15-year-old girl has been missing for a few weeks. A teenage girl named Jasmine Block was wet and worried, then took refuge inside a leather-shirt truck.
Millert learned of the girl’s existence from the information and all the missing announcements that were posted around town. The girl has been missing from her home in Alexandria, Minnesota since August 9.
It was later revealed that Yasmine had been kidnapped and detained throughout this period. She was sexually and physically assaulted in a locked house, making her difficult to find.
Block says his father’s friend Jay Baker, 32, came to their house late at night and asked him for help with his son. Block forced him and escorted Baker to his home.
Baker block tied with zipped fasteners. For 29 days, Becker and her friends Holby and Powers sexually assaulted her.
Block told investigators the men attempted to kill her three times, including drowning her in a bathtub. On September 5, they put her in a sports bag in the back of the truck and she managed to escape. She threw herself into a lake near the house, swam to the other side, and finally got out onto the road where Earl was driving.
Luckily, Earl saved her life and helped the police catch the culprits. The local police thanked him and offered to pay a ransom to find the missing girl. Jasmine is now safe.
