Legendary talk show host Sally Jessy Raphael recently shared rare photos from her retirement, looking almost unrecognizable compared to her days on network television.

In one Instagram post from Friday, the former “Sally” host sported bright red hair, a black-and-white sundress, and a green scarf while enjoying a relaxing boat ride. She captioned the photo with a shoutout to her “Raphaelites,” saying she’s “serving you sailboat vibes.”

In two more pictures, the 90-year-old TV personality tied her vibrant red hair into a ponytail and wore a tie-dye T-shirt while relaxing at the edge of a dock.

In another photo, she was seen savoring oysters during a getaway.

“Hope you’re all enjoying your summer as much as I am,” she wrote in the caption of her July 19 photos.

In another snapshot, the Daytime Emmy winner enjoyed oysters during a getaway, humorously commenting, “In New England enjoying some oysters… aren’t these supposed to be an aphrodisiac?!”

Earlier in February, the TV star shared a photo of herself embracing the Parisian lifestyle, leaning out of a window to admire the City of Lights.

Raphael’s legendary talk show Sally — originally titled Sally Jessy Raphael — ran from 1983 to 2002. Known for its sensational audience involvement and issue-focused content, the former radio host won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 1989.

Raphael was the host of her iconic talk show “Sally” from 1983 to 2002.

Her husband, Karl Soderlund — with whom she shared an adopted son, Jason, and three foster children — passed away in 2020 after 57 years of marriage. She also had two daughters, Allison (who died in 1992) and Andrea, with her former husband Andrew Vladimir, whom she divorced in 1963.

In March, Raphael spoke to People about turning 90 after a long and prominent career in television.

“It’s really interesting being 90 because if you dye your hair and you don’t have any veins in your legs, then people say you look young,” she told the magazine.

“And that’s always nice to hear, although why people think looking young when you’re 90 is a compliment is beyond me — but they take it as one.”

“People always say, ‘That cute old lady,’ so I guess I’m cute again,” Raphael told People, as shown in a March Instagram photo.

She also shared her thoughts on the perks of growing older.

“When you’re young, you’re cute, but for a long time after that, you’re not,” she explained.

“Then when you reach 80 or 90, you become cute once more. People often say, ‘That cute old lady,’ so I guess I’m cute again.”
