Nick Reiner’s private Instagram account has come to light as he faces two counts of first-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.
Page Six has obtained exclusive screenshots from his profile, including two previously unseen photos.
The most recent post, dated November 28, 2017, shows 32-year-old Nick jokingly being choked by an unidentified man, captioned “Cuban choke slam,” with the location tagged as Havana, Cuba.
Another photo, from April 28, 2017, captures Nick giving a strained smile while sitting on a bench wearing a black jacket, jeans, and a cowboy hat.
His siblings, Jake, 34, and Romy, 28, continue to follow him on the platform.

A former co-worker shared the screenshots of the profile with Page Six and spoke about their time working with Nick on the set of Family Guy in 2014.
“He interned on Family Guy for about three to six months. His father helped him get the job,” the insider said, noting that Rob Reiner “would drop him off” and “pick him up” every day.
“They said he was coming off rehab at the time, so he was sober. This was part of his path to recovery. His whole identity was being sober,” the source added.
The insider described Nick’s work habits, saying he would work four hours a day but mostly spent his time “shooting the s–t” with colleagues.
“He did not work hard and wasn’t a hard worker,” the source alleged. “He was 100 percent entitled. There was really no responsibility for him because we didn’t have interns. It was a favor for Rob.”
Nick’s siblings, Romy (third from left) and Jake (far right), continue to follow him on the social media platform.
The source described Nick as “captivating” and “goofy” in his younger years, a stark contrast to his state of mind leading up to his parents’ deaths.
“His darkness was his humor. He has a dark sense of humor,” the insider explained. “He was a funny kid—charismatic in a dark, introverted way. He was a goofy 20-year-old.”
The source added that Nick often made “f–ked up things, dark things” comments, always with a “tinge” of humor.
“He was the black sheep. He felt like a f–k up, and he knew it,” the insider continued. “He was self-aware of how his family was doing and how he represented them, but none of it ever felt offensive or scary.”
A co-worker told Page Six that Nick was “goofy” and “captivating” while on set in 2014.
Despite his fondness for Nick, the source said they weren’t surprised by the news of his arrest on murder charges.
“I’m not that shocked. He is a troubled person,” the insider admitted. “Nick had an aura of darkness around him with his addiction issues. When you have addiction and mental health struggles, there is room for emotional turmoil.”
“It doesn’t seem unfounded,” they added. “He was a troubled kid from a young age and had issues. But that’s not the Nick I knew.”
The insider also recalled Rob as a loving, caring father who “tried his best to help Nick get on his feet” over the years.

Nick was formally charged after his parents were found stabbed to death and is currently in jail awaiting arraignment.
Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, were discovered in their Brentwood, Los Angeles, home on Sunday afternoon.
According to TMZ, the couple had reportedly been dead for several hours, as rigor mortis had already set in.
Sources initially told The Post that Nick was considered a person of interest. He fled the scene and was later arrested in connection with the murders.
Nick is being held without bail at Twin Towers Correctional Facility and is scheduled for arraignment on January 7, 2026. He is being represented by renowned defense attorney Alan Jackson.
He is scheduled to return to court on January 7, 2026.
Just hours before the murders, Nick reportedly behaved erratically toward guests at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party on December 13, even getting into an argument with his father.
Nick has long struggled with drug addiction, a struggle he chronicled in the semi-autobiographical 2015 film Being Charlie, directed by his father, which reflects his nearly 20 stints in rehab.
He also reportedly has a history of violence. A Reiner family neighbor told The Post, “This is not the first time their son has been violent. I just never thought it would ever get to this point.”
