In the wake of his 39-year-old son’s passing, “Pawn Stars” legend Rick Harrison has finally spoken out, confirming the heartbreaking truth about Adam’s death. Prepare yourself before scrolling through the comments.

Following the sudden and tragic loss of Rick Harrison’s son, Adam, the star of Pawn Stars has emerged from silence to share a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

Adam, aged 39, tragically passed away from an overdose in Las Vegas on Friday, leaving his family in profound shock and devastation.

“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔,” Rick penned alongside a photo capturing a cherished moment shared with Adam at a bar.

Prior to Rick’s statement, the family spokesperson, Laura Herlovich, confirmed Adam’s passing to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of Adam. We kindly request privacy as we navigate through this grieving process,” the statement expressed.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Rick disclosed the precise cause of Adam’s passing, underscoring fentanyl’s role.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam’s passing was due to a fentanyl overdose,” affirmed the reality-show luminary. “The fentanyl crisis gripping our nation demands urgent attention. It appears to be seeping across borders unchecked, and we must take decisive action. We owe it to our communities to do better.”

Fans, along with several of Rick’s celebrity acquaintances, swiftly expressed messages of sympathy.

“I’m deeply sorry, man,” penned Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

Adam’s brother, Corey Harrison, also honored his late sibling on Instagram, sharing a vintage baby photo featuring the two of them in a bath.

“Wax, what the heck, I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the nostalgic image.

Adam was the second child of Rick Harrison from his first marriage to Kim Harrison. Rick later remarried, and with his second wife, he welcomed son Jake.

While viewers witnessed Rick and Corey overseeing operations at the Gold & Silver Pawn and appearing on the show, Adam was not as prominently involved, although reports suggest he did collaborate with his father.

Overdose deaths, including those related to synthetic opioids, surged by 56.6% from January 2020 to 2021, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Fentanyl, classified by the Drug Enforcement Agency as a Schedule II controlled substance, is described as “similar to morphine but about 100 times more potent.” Even a minuscule amount of two milligrams, less than a grain of salt, can prove fatal depending on an individual’s body.

Our condolences and heartfelt prayers are with the Harrison family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Adam.
