King Charles has maintained a strong bond with his son and daughter-in-law, reportedly deepening his connection with the Princess of Wales following their shared battles with cancer.
However, despite this close relationship, many royal observers remain unaware of Charles’ significant involvement in the royal wedding over a decade ago. As the father of the groom, then-Prince Charles played a pivotal role in orchestrating the 2011 Royal wedding, even handpicking the wedding music.
Charles drew upon his expertise in classical music when selecting the wedding music, as he disclosed to Alan Titchmarsh during a 2020 interview on Classic FM.
He remarked, “I enjoy curating diverse and hopefully captivating pieces of music for special occasions, especially weddings when there’s interest. I’m grateful my eldest son was open to my suggestions and embraced them for their wedding.”

Throughout the years, King Charles has fostered a strong bond with his son, Prince William, and his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton. His involvement in their 2011 wedding was particularly significant.
