There is no ending to photos of skinny models that describe the beauty standards approved in the world, we end up scrolling unconsciously through millions of similar pictures that deprive the humanity from people in them. So when came across this couple’s photoshoot, we knew immediately that we’re talking about something special.

The photoshoot of Stephanie and Arryn done by Bria Terry, of Wolf & Rose Photography, has caused a storm online when posted on photographer’s social page. Since the internet is most of the time an unkind environment, where critique is usually the first reaction, this series of photos had a surprisingly positive reception.

Stephanie had self-esteem problems since she was in school: “I remember being in junior high and looking at myself in the mirror, wondering why my stomach wasn’t the way it was ‘supposed’ to be,” she told HuffPost. “Over the years, I’ve come to accept that I am always going to be considered plus-size.” But this shoot gave her an opportunity to finally face that public scrutiny, and see what comes out of it. “I honestly have never felt more attractive,” was her reaction when first seeing the album. “I was shocked. I look so in love and confident. Every person should be able to see themselves in that light. It is really eye-opening.”
