Carrie and Craig Kosinski harbored a deep desire to become parents, but their journey took an unexpected turn. Despite their persistent efforts to conceive, Carrie faced a significant obstacle – severe endometriosis, rendering natural conception impossible. Undeterred, the couple embraced the prospect of adoption.

Their path to parenthood took a surprising twist when a friend reached out, inquiring whether Carrie and Craig could care for infant twins whose mother, already a mother of twins, was unable to provide adequate care. Initially intended as a temporary arrangement, the brief stay extended into weeks, and, in a heartwarming turn of events, the Kosinskis officially adopted the twins when they were just three months old.

Approximately a year later, the birth mother of the twins adopted by Carrie and Craig contacted them with a life-altering proposition. She expressed her decision to entrust her other set of twins to the Kosinskis for adoption, believing them to be the ideal parents.

Contemplating the significant responsibility of caring for four children, Carrie and Craig deliberated extensively. Despite the challenges, their commitment to keeping the siblings together ultimately prevailed. Consequently, they agreed to embrace the arrival of two-year-old twins, Cece and J.J.

Reflecting on the decision, Carrie shared, “It was a challenging choice, especially as we were actively trying to conceive. However, the bond between the siblings was a crucial factor in our decision—we were determined to keep them together.”

In September 2015, almost two years after welcoming the initial set of adopted twins, Carrie began experiencing unusual symptoms, prompting her to seek medical advice. To her astonishment, after seeing FREE ultrasounds, doctors revealed that she was pregnant. The surprise intensified when she discovered she was expecting not one but two babies.

Recognizing the pregnancy as a divine blessing, the couple embraced the prospect of expanding their family. Anticipating the arrival of twins meant that they would soon be caring for a total of six children under their roof—an exhilarating thought for the growing family.

”We were very shocked. We were like ‘oh my God we are going to have three sets of twins. What are we going to do with ourselves?’” Carrie recalled in an interview with Inside Edition.

The most remarkable twist unfolded when Carrie delivered her babies on a particularly significant date, February 28. In an unbelievable coincidence, it turned out that all her adopted children shared the same birthday. Picture the joy of six children celebrating their birthdays together. “God evidently has a sense of humor,” remarked the delighted mother.

The entire community rallied in excitement to support this family, organizing fundraisers on platforms like GoFundMe and AdoptTogether to alleviate the increasing expenses and high costs.

“I have to maintain a strict schedule and stay organized, or things can quickly become overwhelming,” notes Carrie.

She expresses, “We believe that because God adopted us into His family, we were destined to adopt these children into ours. It’s an immense blessing for us. We love all our children equally, and we wouldn’t wish for our lives to be any different.”

In the course of time, Carrie and Craig embraced the arrival of another child, bringing their total to seven. What a wonderful blessing!
