Stinger is a deaf-born pit bull mix who unfortunately was stung by thousands of bees after rolling around in a bad spot. He had a severe allergic reaction to the stings and was taken urgently to a veterinarian’s office. This was the last time Stinger saw his owners as they eventually abandoned him.
This unfortunate incident was also the beginning of a new better life , when Carri Shipaila, founder of LuvnPupz rescue organization, stepped in. She was informed about Stinger’s sad story. At that time, stinger was also underweight and had sarcoptic mange, more commonly known as scabies, a highly contagious skin disease caused by a mite. Stinger spent long days healing at Shipaila’s vet, and his medical bills were more than her rescue can handle. The deaf dog also needed to get special training in sign language before he can become fully adoptable. Shipaila said: “Stinger is an amazing dog. He loves everyone he meets. He’s the perfect image of how people should see the breed; sweet, funny and full of life,”
