A bond called friendship can be very strong. Below, we meet two dogs, Goofy and Chicky. They happened to know each other when they were rescued and taken to California shelter. It proved very hard to separate them once they became good friends.

Of the two dogs, none accepted food once they were put in two different kennels.
The personnel at the shelter took note that Goofy, a terrier of six years and Chicky, a show of six years could not do without each other after being friends for a long time.
But upon being united again, they became calm even though they were in a new environment.
It was a dog rescuer by the name of Katy DePasquale, who noticed the two dogs were cuddling and made a point of reuniting them again.
It all happened when Chicky was taken to a vet because he had an eye infection. This made it impossible for anyone apart from rescue organizations to adopt Chicky.
This meant that the rescue was possible for both of them at once or nothing would be done. Katy searched for a Bark Party, of which they came into terms and she was able to adopt both of them on a Saturday.
A vet had to fix Chicky’s eyes. But above all, the good thing is that the two dogs found a permanent home where they will no longer live the life similar to the one they had at the shelter.
