Liam Neeson’s budding romance seems to have the blessing of his late wife’s sister.
On Friday, August 1, Pamela Anderson posted a series of affectionate photos on Instagram featuring herself and Neeson, celebrating the release of their new film.
“The Naked Gun is finally out in theatres!” wrote Anderson, 58. “Bring your friends, family, partners — anyone! Just come have a laugh… it’s good for the soul. See you there!”

Joely’s apparent endorsement of Neeson’s rumored relationship with Anderson delighted many fans of the former Baywatch star, prompting a flurry of reactions in the comments.
“Classy and loving as always,” one fan wrote in response to Joely’s gesture.
Another added, “Very sweet of you,” while a third chimed in, “Okay, this is everything.”
Neeson, 73, married Joely’s sister, Natasha Richardson, in 1994 after they met and worked together on the Broadway revival of Anna Christie the previous year.
Prior to his relationship with Richardson, the Taken star had been romantically linked to Helen Mirren and Barbra Streisand.
Together, Neeson and Richardson had two sons: Micheál, who is now 30, and Daniel, who is 28.
Tragedy struck in March 2009 when Natasha Richardson died from a traumatic brain injury sustained in a skiing accident in Quebec. The beloved Parent Trap actress was just 45.
In a 2014 interview with 60 Minutes, Neeson opened up about the immense grief he experienced after her passing.
“Grief hits you. It’s like a wave,” he told host Anderson Cooper. “You just get this profound feeling of instability. You feel like a three-legged table. Suddenly, the Earth isn’t stable anymore.”
“And then it passes and comes less often, but I still feel it sometimes,” the Star Wars actor added.
Then, in October 2024, Neeson announced he was finished with dating.
“No, in a word,” he told People last year. “I’m past all that.”

That seemed to shift when the Oscar-nominated actor and Anderson crossed paths while working on Seth MacFarlane’s The Naked Gun reboot.
“In October 2024, Neeson said, ‘With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with.’”
Anderson shared with Entertainment Weekly last month, “I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely share a connection that’s sincere, loving, and he’s a good guy.”

The couple brought their sons to the New York City premiere of The Naked Gun and even joked about making out on live TV during their July 29 appearance on Today.
Insiders have since revealed that Neeson and Anderson are dating and really enjoying their time together.
“It’s a budding romance in the early stages,” a source told People in July. “It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”

“It’s very sincere how they feel,” another insider told Page Six. “That is the truth.”
“They’re not going to pose on the red carpet just for show—that’s not who they are,” the insider added. “This is happening in real time, right now, so it’s unclear what the future holds.”
