During the historic heatwave that passed through the Pacific Northwest in June, Oregon resident Joseph Rojas sat out ice cubes to help the wildlife suffering the hot temperatures. And luckily, he was able to catch a squirrel on video enjoying the cool treat. 
The squirrel seemed to greatly appreciate the gesture as it licked the ice cube even with the camera right up close to it. It’s the little things like this in life that often mean the most! Gotta love it.
