Lauren Sánchez was seen shooing her husband, Jeff Bezos, while striking poses on the Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2026 red carpet Sunday night.
The awkward interaction was caught on camera and shared on Vanity Fair’s official X account.
The clip shows Sánchez, 56, and Bezos, 62, posing together at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art before the former journalist motioned for the Amazon founder to step aside.

Once Bezos moved out of the frame, Sánchez posed solo, showing off her all-black ensemble. She wore a vintage John Galliano strapless gown paired with tights, heels, and a dazzling 85-carat diamond jewelry set by Lorraine Schwartz.
Bezos complemented her look with a classic black tuxedo and matching bowtie.
The couple are no strangers to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, having attended the annual event together for the past two years.

The Vanity Fair red carpet has long been a showcase for Sánchez’s standout fashion moments. Last year, three months before tying the knot in a star-studded Italian wedding in June 2025, she wore a white feathered Oscar de la Renta mermaid gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz emeralds. In 2024, she stunned in a sheer red Lever Couture gown with a ruffled train and a diamond necklace.
This year, Sánchez and Jeff Bezos mingled with Hollywood’s elite at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, rubbing shoulders with stars including Nicole Kidman, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Gracie Abrams, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and many more.
Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos, who tied the knot in June 2025, have attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party together since at least 2024.
The couple has a busy season ahead, serving as honorary co-chairs and lead sponsors of the Met Gala 2026 this May.
“It has been such a fun and meaningful experience,” Sánchez said during a recent appearance on Today. “When Anna called me and asked, ‘Do you want to co-chair and also be the sponsors of the Met?’ I was so honored.”
She added, “It’s going to be incredible to see what everyone wears and to really honor all these designers. I cannot wait.”
