Keely Brosnan showered her husband Pierce with affection in a heartfelt post featuring throwback photos as the couple marked 31 years together.
The 61-year-old journalist took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a series of photos from their red carpet moments over the years, starting from when they first met in Mexico in 1994.
Along with the glamorous snapshots, she captioned: “April 26, 1995 – Our first red carpet appearance in London. Still stepping out 31 years later.”
Celebrating the anniversary of their meeting, Keely wrote: “Happy Anniversary my love! 4-8-94 was my lucky day.”
Recently, Pierce, 71, and Keely grabbed attention when they stunned on the red carpet at the MobLand premiere in New York City last month.
Keely, who married Pierce in 2001, showcased her remarkable weight loss — estimated at around 7 stone — in a chic black lace mini dress with three-quarter sleeves.

Pierce, 71, and Keely, 61, recently made headlines for their stunning appearance on the red carpet at the MobLand premiere in New York City last month.
The couple still appears deeply in love after all these years, with Pierce never hesitating to shower Keely with compliments in interviews and on Instagram.
Pierce was previously married to Cassandra Harris, and after her passing in 1986, he adopted her children, Charlotte and Christopher. Together, they had a son, Sean, in 1983. Tragically, Charlotte passed away from ovarian cancer in 2013 at the age of 41.
Just over three years after Charlotte’s death, Pierce met Keely in Mexico.
Keely told People that when she first met Pierce in 1994, she was immediately captivated by him and noticed the “mischievous sparkle” in his eyes.
In the same interview, Pierce spoke fondly of his wife, saying, “I found a great woman in Keely Shaye. Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good.”
Opening up about how Keely supported him through his grief for his first wife, he told The Irish Times in 2013: “Keely has always been kind and compassionate and encouraged me to mourn Cassie. … I suppose Keely is my North Star, always looking out for me.”
Pierce also showed his unwavering support for Keely in 2022, when a cruel post about her weight went viral on Facebook, following their 21st wedding anniversary in August.
Sharing a series of photos from throughout their relationship, she wrote: “April 26, 1995 – Our first red carpet appearance in London. Still stepping out 31 years later.”
The couple first met in Mexico in 1994 and later tied the knot in August 2001.
When Keely met Pierce in Mexico in 1994, she told People that she was instantly captivated by the Bond actor, noting the “mischievous sparkle” in his eyes (pictured in 1996).
In the same interview, the actor expressed his admiration for his wife, saying, “I found a great woman in Keely Shaye. Even if I searched a million times over, I wouldn’t find one as good.”
In a post that has since been deleted, trolls compared how Keely’s body had changed since she first met Pierce in 1994.
However, Pierce quickly defended his wife, responding, “Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight. But I strongly love every curve of her body. She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children.”
He continued, “In the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I love her even more because she is the mother of our children. I am very proud of her, and I always strive to be worthy of her love.”
Pierce frequently expresses his love and devotion to Keely on Instagram, where the couple celebrates special milestones like anniversaries and birthdays.
For Keely’s 60th birthday in September 2023, Pierce shared a heartfelt message, writing, “Sixty roses for my brown-eyed girl on her 60th birthday.” Reflecting on their first meeting, he added, “Forever happy and blessed was I to be sitting there when you walked around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas.”
Keely also stood by Pierce through unimaginable grief when his eldest daughter, Charlotte, passed away in 2013 from ovarian cancer—the same disease that took her mother’s life 21 years earlier. Charlotte was just 42 years old.
The couple linked arms as they made a stylish entrance at the red carpet event for the opening night of Good Night, and Good Luck on Broadway last week.
He frequently expresses his love and devotion to Keely on Instagram, where the couple celebrates milestones such as anniversaries and birthdays.
Later that year, he shared with the Irish Mirror how his wife continued to support him through his grief, saying, “Love is the most beautiful, joyous feeling. It can come from many places. Hopefully, the one who is beside you, the one who’s there on the pillow beside you in the morning – my wife.”
He went on, “We seem to do well at being together and being in love, and, more importantly, liking each other. The ‘like’ factor is a wonderful thing. Love can’t burn constantly. It’s hard for it to be so intense all the time. But it’s still wonderful. I tell her I love her every day. It’s important to say that.”
