Jennifer Lopez faced online backlash after some social media users accused her of acting like a “diva” during a New York City outing on Wednesday.
In a video making the rounds online, the 56-year-old “Hustlers” star was seen standing inside the lobby of a Four Seasons Hotel while waiting for the area near the entrance to clear so photographers could capture her exit.
The footage shows Lopez lingering by the doors as members of her team and several hotel guests — including one person carrying a baby — exited ahead of her before she finally stepped outside

Jennifer Lopez — seen here leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City — was ridiculed online earlier this week over what critics called a “diva” moment.

Once she stepped outside, the “On the Floor” performer took her time walking to her vehicle, smiling and waving at cameras before getting inside.
Lopez appeared fully prepared for the spotlight, wearing a stylish outfit that included a belted tan fur coat paired with a brown midi skirt. She completed the look with gold jewelry, a clutch bag, and oversized sunglasses.
Social media users quickly weighed in on the moment, with many poking fun at what they viewed as the singer’s carefully staged pose and celebrity-style entrance.

She was seen standing just inside the lobby doors, allowing her team and other hotel guests to exit first before making her way out to her waiting car.

One social media user joked, “She’s just standing there like a Marvel villain,” poking fun at Lopez’s poised stance.
Others were more critical of the moment, with one commenting, “Just walk to the doggone car,” while another wrote that celebrities like her seem “out of touch with reality.”
Another user added a harsher remark, accusing the singer of being “so full of herself” and telling her to “get off that high horse,” reflecting the mixed and often critical reactions across Instagram.

Meanwhile, another social media user described Lopez as being “so out of touch with reality.”

However, some fans defended the “Let’s Get Loud” singer, pointing out that paparazzi photography is a professional job and suggesting that Lopez was simply giving photographers time to get their shots.
One supporter wrote, “Remember being a paparazzi is an actual job. I know they appreciated the fact that Jlo took the time to model for them. People really need to stop being haters.”
Another fan added, “A diva always waits for the runway to clear before her entrance. J Lo is top-notch — haters all day,” pushing back against the criticism online.
