Jaxson Dart didn’t just energize a long-suffering fanbase—he made his mom proud.

After the Giants’ decisive 34-17 victory over the Eagles, Kara Dart appeared on the postgame set of Thursday Night Football, where Prime Video’s Charissa Thompson asked her about her son’s impressive early success.

As the crowd roared in the stands, Thompson left the set to speak with Dart’s parents.

“I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you this: Your son is so well-mannered. As Ryan Fitzpatrick said, you raised him the right way,” Thompson told Kara Dart, with fans chanting “Mama Dart” in the background. “What does this win mean for you, seeing what your son accomplished tonight?”

“Well, I’m going to get emotional,” his mom, Kara Dart, admitted. “When you have a child who works as hard as he does and dreams as big as he dreams, that’s exactly what you hope for… It’s really special.”

Kara Dart admitted she was getting emotional hearing the glowing compliments about her son.

“Jaxson knew the Giants were going to have a good chance tonight,” his father, Brandon Dart, added, as their son tossed them the game ball and fans began chanting “Papa Dart.” “He has unbelievable faith in his coaches and teammates. He said, ‘We’re going to be good.’”

The Giants improved to 2-4 thanks to the heroics of Dart and his rookie partner-in-crime, running back Cam Skattebo. Skattebo carried 19 times for 98 yards and three touchdowns as Big Blue dismantled an Eagles defense that looked ready to give up after AJ Dillon fumbled at the Giants’ 37-yard line with seven minutes left.

Skattebo also shared a special moment with his family, handing his third touchdown ball to his father as a keepsake.

“That was my third touchdown ball,” Skattebo said. “I told him to come down and get it. I knew that’s something he really values. When he gets to my house, he’s like, ‘Where are your gloves? Where’s your jersey? Where’s your helmet?’ I know that means more to him than anything, and that’s something I love—giving back to him and the family and involving them in this.”

With the win, the Giants now have 10 days to prepare for a trip to Mile High, where they’ll face the Denver Broncos in a matchup that could be far more competitive than expected.
