In fact, they once revealed that the reason behind their enduring relationship is precisely their decision to not get married. Goldie explained in a 2007 interview with Woman’s Day, “As long as my emotional state is devoted, honest, caring, and loving, then we’re fine. I enjoy waking up every day and seeing that he’s there, knowing that I have a choice. There’s truly no need for us to marry.”
Today, the couple finds immense happiness in their role as grandparents. Surprisingly, the stunning Goldie has embraced this new chapter, and one of her granddaughters, Rio, bears an uncanny resemblance to her famous grandmother.
During the birth of her youngest grandchild, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, Goldie Hawn was present in the delivery room, witnessing the precious moment of her granddaughter’s arrival. She shared this extraordinary experience during an appearance on the Ellen Show. Recalling the event, the proud grandmother shared, “The doctor was in there, and I could see the head and then it disappeared. I was looking over his shoulder, and then the doctor turned to me and said, ‘Goldie, if you get any closer, you’re gonna fall in.'”
Apart from Rani Rose, Goldie also has two other grandchildren from her daughter, Kate Hudson. The boys, Ryder Russell (15) and Bingham Hawn Bellamy (8), complete the loving family.
In addition to their own children, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have the joy of being grandparents to three more grandchildren from Goldie’s son, Oliver Hudson. The couple frequently shares photos of these little ones, expressing how their grandkids bring immense happiness into their lives. When baby Rani Rose was born, Kate delightedly posted an adorable picture of Goldie and Kurt cuddling with her. Expressing her immense pride, Goldie spoke to Australian Women’s Weekly, saying, “When I look at our children and grandchildren, there’s nothing in the world that could make me prouder. Being a grandmother is amazing, I love it. It brings incredible joy. Family holds such significance.” Affectionately, her grandchildren refer to her as “GoGo,” a term we find absolutely adorable.
Kurt wholeheartedly agrees, emphasizing that their children and grandchildren hold the utmost importance in their lives.
