He was a one-of-a-kind performer, but above all a great musician, creator of the most played – and most memorable – songs of all time, including the classic single “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

So, as an ardent Queen fan, it really warms my heart to see this kind of performance.

Not only was this contestant brave to audition for the Russian version of The Voice, 2014 edition, with the song Queen, but the contestant also appeared in front of a huge crowd dressed as Freddy!

At first everyone probably thought he was a man doing such an amazing pose, but underneath such perfect makeup was a woman named Ksena Sergienko. And it didn’t take him long to convince all the judges, the public and the viewers.

Moment Sergienko opened his mouth and immediately proved that his choice of songs for “The Show Must Go On” was the right one. The crowd became unruly, the judges watched in awe, even one of them was so moved by his performance that he couldn’t help but cry.

Watch the video for yourself, and I’m sure you’ll be as amazed by this awesome test as everyone else. You’ll probably feel like you’ve stepped back in time and watched this. Freddie Mercury would be so proud of this talented woman!
