She’s not the villain.
Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas, publicly defended the singer amid backlash over her anti-ICE remarks at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday.
“Seeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24-year-old sister said during her acceptance speech,” he wrote on Instagram Threads on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old (pictured Sunday) fired back at the “outrage” in a Threads post on Wednesday.
“We can literally see your names in the Epstein files,” Finneas added.
The siblings notably won song of the year over the weekend for “Wildflower,” after which Eilish used her time onstage to criticize Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“I feel so honored every time I get to be in this room,” she began. “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land.”
“Yeah, it’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now,” the songwriter continued. “I feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting. Our voices really do matter, and the people matter — and f–k ICE.”
She and Finneas (pictured in March 2025) were among several stars who wore “ICE OUT” pins on their Grammys outfits this year.
Similarly, Kehlani told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet, “F–k ICE. We’re too powerful of a group to all be in a room at the same time and not make some kind of statement in our country, so it’s brainless to me.”
Jelly Roll, meanwhile, declined to weigh in at the event, calling himself a “disconnected … dumb redneck.”
He later told reporters, “I’m going through it the next week, and everybody’s going to hear exactly what I have to say about it in the most loud and clear way I’ve ever spoken in my life. So I look forward to it on the Internet.”
