They can love you without expecting something in return and the best example for this is the following story of this dog who followed the ambulance that took his owner to the hospital.
When his owner was taken in an ambulance in Goina, Brazil, his dog took off running after it.
The dog’s homeless owner suffered from epileptic seizure and he was taken immediately to the hospital. He did his best to keep up with the ambulance that was carrying his companion.
As the ambulance was running so fast, the dog started showing signs of being tired and drivers realized that it is impossible to make it to the hospital on time.
They gave him the chance of getting back of the the ambulance with his owner.
<“I’ve been doing this job for 19 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” said one of the paramedics. “We couldn’t believe how well-behaved the dog was,” he added. “It just sat quietly and patiently beside its owner. It didn’t even bark.”
When they made it to the hospital, the dog waited with his owner all the time.
