There are many people out there who love to take care of their own pets and give them the most attention and care. Sure, there are cat lovers and dog lovers. And there are people who are putting themselves out of these categories when they are abusing or abandoning these sweet animals in terrible conditions. So whenever I see or hear about rescuing or giving a forever home to one of these animals, I feel extremely happy and my heart warms. And this is one of these beautiful and uplifting stories:
Earlier this year, Bret Winingar was riding his motorbike along with his son Zach Little Rock, AR’s rural countryside, as they were passing by a field, they spotted something very bizarre by the side of the road – an old pet carrier. They came near to it, they looked inside to find something that will absolutely break your heart…
The pet carrier they found seemed to it had been left on the field for quite some time
They found a hole in the crate which is possible that something was chewing it desperately in order to walk out from it
They quickly unlocked the carrier and they were filled with horror and shock when they found a skinny dog imprisoned inside. The crate was covered with waste. The dog was bending over from being encaged for a long time.
They ruched to bring some food to the poor dog. which she woofed it down excitedly.
After a brief time, they came back after getting a truck to get them home. They placed the dog in the backseat.
In their way back to home, the dog was continuously showing her love and gratitude.
Once they reached home, they quickly gave her a warm bath and a lot of love.
They decided to name her Charlie Bravo, or CB for short.
They took her to the vets to dress her soles that were developed while she was confined for that long time. She was struggling in her walk and everyone was worried about her state.
The vets estimated that CB was 8 months old at the time when she was found. But it is hard to know how much she was trapped inside of that carrier. Poor dog!
Bret who has already four rescued dogs in his house, was not initially planing to keep CB.
But after treating her and nursing her back to her healthy state. He couldn’t part with her
It had been a month since her rescued, CB gained her weight and her soles are treated. Her spirit also changed from being timid and scared to one excited dog who love to play and cuddle with her family members.
CB’s story went viral and animal lovers gave their help and donated money to cover her medical bills.
The donations surpassed CB’s medical fees. The Winingars decided to give the exceeded money to a local animal shelter.
They planned to create their own organization to help rescue animals like Charlie Bravo.
Guess what is the name: “Charlie’s Angels” Absolutely amazing!
