Barbara Eden, the remarkably beautiful actress, is now 92, and it’s unanimous that she appears timeless. Renowned for her role in “I Dream of Jeannie,” she retains her stunning allure, as evidenced by recent photographs we’re delighted to share with you.
Born Barbara Jean Morehead on August 23, 1931, she initially showcased her talents in the church choir before venturing into various bands. Pursuing studies in both singing and acting, she excelled in both disciplines.
Her innate charm earned her the distinction of Miss San Francisco in 1951.
Her TV career started with The Johnny Carson Show in 1955 and continued with a number of series and movies. In I Dream of Jeannie, which is her most remarkable role, she played a genie set free from her bottle. The series aired for five years.
On her recent birthday, the official Barbara Eden Instagram account delighted fans by sharing a photo that left them awestruck at her ageless beauty. The post exclaimed, “Wishing a joyous birthday to our beloved blonde, the iconic Rider of the Wild Surf, voyager to the Bottom of the Sea, adversary of the Harper Valley PTA, and of course, the timeless Lady in the Bottle!”
Barbara was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988 in recognition of her significant contributions to television.
In her memoir “Jeannie Out of the Bottle,” published in 2011, Barbara reflects on her childhood, her rise to fame in her twenties, her marriages, and the heartbreaking loss of her son.
Turning 92 this year, the actress emphasizes that age is merely a number. Speaking with the Hollywood Reporter, she shares, “It’s like any other birthday, I’m just happy to be here. I really don’t think about it. Everybody else does but I never have. I’m looking forward to going back to work.”

Barbara remains active in her career and has no intentions of retiring soon. “I was working right up until the shutdown last March,” she shared with the Hollywood Reporter.
Expressing gratitude for her journey in showbiz, she remarked, “I’m very fortunate to have lived through that era,” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “I’m grateful for my beginnings back then, but times change. It’s an exciting era now, with more actors working than ever before thanks to platforms like Netflix and Amazon, and the abundance of movies and TV shows being produced.”
“I feel youthful!” Barbara exclaimed to Page 6, expressing her gratitude and considering herself fortunate. “I empathize with individuals like my father, who had to toil daily in pursuits they didn’t enjoy. I derive pleasure from my work. I’m still actively engaged.”
Until a few years ago, she frequented the gym, taking part in spin classes and weightlifting. Nowadays, she trains with a personal instructor at her home.
“I have a vibrant social circle,” the television icon added. “I’m quite socially active.”
Recently, Eden graced a red carpet event in Beverly Hills, stunning all attendees with her timeless appearance.
She sported a navy blue satin blouse paired with black leggings, complemented by coordinating black and silver jewelry and high-heeled shoes with pointed toes.
In 2021, she detailed her approach to maintaining her appearance, stating, “I’m very mindful of my diet.”
“I’m a carnivore… I enjoy steak. We incorporate plenty of pork, chicken, steak, and vegetables into our meals.”
