Supermodel and “Dallas” star Annabel Schofield has passed away at 62 after a battle with cancer.
Schofield, known for gracing the covers of Vogue and starring in campaigns for top brands like Yves Saint Laurent, died on February 28 in Los Angeles, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
In a heartfelt GoFundMe post, she revealed that her cancer had spread to her brain in July, following a three-year fight against the disease.
Schofield (pictured in 2015) was celebrated as a “raging beauty” and praised for her mastery of her craft.
The Welsh-born model worked with top brands including Rimmel, Revlon, and Boots No.7, gaining recognition for her memorable performances in commercials. She rose to particular fame with a Bugle Boy Jeans TV ad, delivering the iconic line, “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?” while driving a black Ferrari through the desert.
Schofield later moved to Los Angeles and took on the role of Laurel Ellis in “Dallas,” appearing in 12 episodes of the hit series in 1988, according to IMDb.
Her screen credits also include “Dragonard,” “Solar Crisis,” “Eye of the Widow,” and a 1992 episode of “Dangerous Curves.”

Beyond acting and modeling, Schofield also worked behind the scenes as part of the production teams for films including “The Brothers Grimm,” “Doom,” and “City of Ember,” according to IMDb.
Off-screen, she shared her cancer journey through a series of heartfelt posts on GoFundMe. Her final update, on January 18, revealed that she had undergone surgery to remove a large mass from her nasal cavity.

Tributes have poured in, including from Melissa Richardson, owner of the Take Two Agency, which represented Schofield early in her career.
“She never changed from the sweet little 17-year-old Welsh girl I first met,” Richardson said. “She was fiercely loyal, caring, and above all, a raging beauty. She knew her craft. She was the best.”
