Moose is a sweet golden retriever pup who has yet to turn two years old and he is crushing the old stereotype that dogs hate mailmen.
Moose doesn’t just not hate his mailman, he loves him.
A few weeks ago, a new mailman was assigned to deliver mail to Moose and his family’s house and for Moose it was love at first sight.
Ever since the new mailman started, Moose has been overjoyed. He is so excited about his new friend that he’s started sitting in the driveway waiting for him. And, luckily for Moose, the mailman seems to return his love.
Moose’s family have released a few adorable clips to Instagram which show Moose patiently waiting for the mailman and bursting with excitement when he finally shows up.
Moose hugs and kisses his new best friend and the mailman returns his love with affectionate pats and scratches.
At the very sight of the mailman’s car, Moose’s tail starts to wag in anticipation.
The pure happiness he feels when he lays eyes on his friend is evident in each clip and is enough to make even the toughest hearts melt.
Even when the driveway is covered in snow, Moose patiently waits outside to greet his friend.
The mailman brings unmeasurable joy to Moose’s life, and Moose is a highlight of the mailman’s route.
“He loves how much love Moose gives him every time he is out on his route” Moose’s pet mom, Meghan Gruszynski, told the Dodo.
People online are also drawing love and strength from watching their beautiful bond; many people have commented on the clips of Moose greeting the mailman and expressed how happy it makes them.
There’s just something invigorating about watching the sheer joy and love they display and we know their friendship will continue to bring joy not only to themselves but to everyone around them.
