Britney Spears has revealed plans to “find a new family” after launching a blistering attack on her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, and ex-husband Kevin Federline in a fiery social media post.
The 44-year-old pop star took to Instagram to air her frustrations with her family, accusing Jamie Lynn of refusing to let her hold her niece, 8-year-old Ivey, during visits to Louisiana. Spears also appeared to misspell the child’s name in her emotional message.
“Jamie Lynn never let me hold [my niece] Ivy [sic] one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips,” Spears wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
The post featured a photo of Dakota Fanning raising her middle finger in the 2003 movie “Uptown Girls.”
Spears also took aim at Federline, claiming he prevented her from using the bathroom at his home when she came to pick up their children.
“Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house !!!” she alleged.
The former couple share two sons, Sean Preston, 21, and Jayden James, 20.
