C’est la vie!

A French couple has gone viral after being filmed casually sipping wine and smoking cigarettes as fires raged just feet away during violent riots in Paris — while a jogger appeared equally unfazed as she ran through the chaos.

The remarkably relaxed pair were spotted chatting at an outdoor bistro table near the iconic Arc de Triomphe, seemingly oblivious to the flames burning behind them amid some of France’s worst rioting in years.

In another surreal scene captured in the French capital on Saturday, a woman was seen calmly jogging down a smoke-filled street, apparently undeterred by the unrest unfolding around her.

Meanwhile, a young woman dressed in a sports bra and running shorts was filmed jogging past burning e-bikes and groups of protesters, weaving through the chaos as unrest gripped the French capital.

Authorities made approximately 2,500 arrests over the weekend as violence, vandalism and looting erupted across France.

In Paris alone, 855 people were arrested as rioters clashed with police and ransacked luxury stores.

French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the violence in a televised address to the nation on Sunday, blaming radical left-wing groups and criminal gangs for fueling the unrest.

But the 48-year-old leader, whose term ends next year, faced criticism over his decision to leave France on Monday for a three-day visit to the Middle East, with critics accusing him of being out of touch as the country grappled with widespread disorder.

On Monday, French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu ordered curfews in several parts of France, including areas of Paris and Marseille, the country’s second-largest city, as authorities moved to contain the escalating violence.
