A newly released 911 call has shed further light on the tragic death of Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, Victoria Jones.
According to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ on Friday, the emergency call was categorized as a “code 3 for an overdose, color change.” In medical terms, an overdose involving a “color change” often indicates cyanosis — a condition marked by bluish discoloration of the skin, lips, or fingernails due to insufficient oxygen in the blood, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Victoria was found dead in the early hours of New Year’s Day at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel.
She was discovered unresponsive on the 14th floor of the hotel, Page Six confirmed Thursday night. In a statement, a Fairmont spokesperson expressed condolences and said the hotel is cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.
“We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on Jan. 1, 2026,” the representative said. “Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”
According to the Daily Mail, a hotel guest initially found Victoria and alerted staff, believing she had passed out from drinking. Paramedics were dispatched to the hotel at 2:52 a.m. for a medical emergency, a fire department spokesperson confirmed, adding that bystanders were given CPR instructions based on CAD records.

Despite lifesaving efforts, Victoria was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics arrived. Authorities with the San Francisco Police Department responded at approximately 3:14 a.m. local time, according to the Daily Mail, and assumed control of the investigation.
The outlet reported that there were no signs of foul play. No drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, and there is no indication that her death was a suicide. An official cause of death has not yet been released.

Victoria previously followed in her father’s acting footsteps, appearing in Men in Black II, One Tree Hill, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father.

The actor, who shared Victoria with his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley, praised his daughter’s talent in a 2006 interview with The New Yorker, saying she was “a good actress, has her SAG card, [and] speaks impeccable Spanish.”
“When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish,” he added.
Although Victoria later stepped away from acting, she continued to support her father by accompanying him to red carpet events on occasion.
